Shot my DPMS Sportical today for first time.Sportical has 16"barrel and I have a Millett DMS-1 scope with Burris mounts.Took 1 shot to get it in an 8" circle at 25yrds.3 more shots to get it on the paper plate at 100.Group was good although alittle high like 3'.Then took it to 300 yrd pigs(Iron).There was a 30mph wind after 1 shot then making wind ajustment proceeded to hit 12 out of 14 pigs with a mixture of ammo.
Sighted in at 100 with Federal. Used the following with know malfunctions.(Also cleaned after every 5 shots) Cavim,LC,Radway Green,Federal. Also no adverse pressure signs.This gun is a definite KEEPER. |

That's good to know. But, there's nothing "cheap" about these rifles!! Like any product, sometimes you get one that was assembled on a Monday morning as opposed to a Wednesday after lunch. I'm taking mine to the range today, myself, and will hopefully have a happy report this evening.
