Just brought home my 1st .308  and it's a beauty:  A DPMS LR-308B with an 18" fluted barrel.

I also purchased an Aimpoint Comp ML2-2x and a LaRue mount.  I plan on taking a trip to the range tomorrow and would like your advice on where to zero the Aimpoint.

My .223 AR-15 is zeroed at 50 yds as I use it in carbine matches and that is a common target distance.  Is there a 'standard' .308 zero distance?  I'd like your input.

Thanks
