[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Miculek 308 comp??

I read an article in the latest Guns n Ammo or Shooting Illustrated or one of my magazines I get and the author had a 308 AR and said he had a Miculek 308 comp put on it. I have one on my 223 but did not know they made one for the 308! Can anyone help me find what he was talking about? Or where I can find one? I want it for my 6.8 spc. and I like the miculek comp on my 223 so I'd like one for the bigger bore. Thanks.

I have a Miculek comp on my LR308. I got it direct from DPMS. I don't know about 6.8.

I believe you can get the Miculek comp from Fulton Armory.

I have several of the Miculek brakes...- use the 5/8"x24 LR-308 on everything from 6mm to .358...for the .358 it has to be opened up a little.

I've got one on a DPMS 243 and I just ordered another from MidwayUSA.com. I had a coupon for fathers day and with shipping I got the 308 brake for about 50 bucks. The one on my 243 works so well I've desided to replace the bird cage on my 308. Donald
