Alright guys... Searched to no prevail. help needed... I have a POF lower and a Fulton Upper with Fulton bolt/carrier and LPK. The bolt catch will not hold the bolt back with a magazine inserted or with manual pressure on the bottom of the bolt catch. The catch only touches the very bottom of the face of the bolt without not enough pressure to hold it back. With the upper off and a magazine in place, the bolt catch aligns with the top of the magazine. My thought is the bolt catch should extend further in order to catch the bolt more effectively. I don't know if the catch or lower is out of spec or something flying under my radar. I can remove the POF ambi release and get more vertical movement, but the lever that is triggered by the magazine no longer aligns with the magazine. My only thought, if everything is in spec, was the POF lower needs a ar15 bolt catch to work? Can someone give me a measurement or post a picture with a empty mag without a upper showing the extent of the bolt catch. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.... |

Quoted: You may need to grind a little off of the reduced diameter of the bolt catch plunger. Thanks... I will take a closer look and see if that's what is holding it back. The only thing that bugs me is when I can get the bolt catch to move freely without the ambi POF button, the height that would appear to work results in the bolt catch tab not in alignment with the magazine follower. Any body care to share a picture that was requested in the first post? Thanks... |
