One of the guys that I work with bought a 16" RR 308 and it had problems from the beginning. After a few rounds it will fail to eject and stovepipe the next round. He has used commercial ammo as well as Albanian and South African surplus. It does it with every one that he has tried.
He has thoroughly cleaned the chamber and had the shop he bought it at clean it. He sent it back to RR and they returned it back to him, supposedly fixed. It is still doing the same thing. I suggested that he have RR send him a new extractor and heavier spring but I don't know what else he has done. He is pretty much about to give up on this rifle and about to dump it. I am trying to help him get it running so he can at least get some use out of it. Can any of you help him or give some suggestions on how he can fix it? |

I would post this in the RRA Forum - hopefully, Steve the moderator and RRA employee will be able to help you out?
