I'm curious what a good rate would be for a CMMG .308 stripped lower.  I ran across one yesterday and it was going for $360.  Is this a fair price or is it accounting for the obama premium?  Thanks for any help!

Being the AR-10 & DPMS magazine compatible stripped lowers are going for ~$400 and the G3 magazine compatible stripped lower is pushing $450, I'd say $360 is a good price. One thing though is you'll play hell finding parts to complete a build and if you do find parts, you'll pay gigabucks. DPMS parts will be easier to find than ArmaLite parts and will only cost megabucks.

Good luck and Cheers!

Wow, I'd have to agree that really does sound like a fair price!  I was guessing that .308 receivers would be a bit more pricey, but wasn't exactly sure how much.  And that being said, I have yet to see any .308 parts kits in any gun stores.  Thanks again for the info!

Most .308 lowers use regular AR15 LPKs.  I don't think you need a special .308 version (my DPMS didn't)
