| I'm curious what a good rate would be for a CMMG .308 stripped lower. I ran across one yesterday and it was going for $360. Is this a fair price or is it accounting for the obama premium? Thanks for any help! |

Thanks for any help! Being the AR-10 & DPMS magazine compatible stripped lowers are going for ~$400 and the G3 magazine compatible stripped lower is pushing $450, I'd say $360 is a good price. One thing though is you'll play hell finding parts to complete a build and if you do find parts, you'll pay gigabucks. DPMS parts will be easier to find than ArmaLite parts and will only cost megabucks. Good luck and Cheers! |
| Wow, I'd have to agree that really does sound like a fair price! I was guessing that .308 receivers would be a bit more pricey, but wasn't exactly sure how much. And that being said, I have yet to see any .308 parts kits in any gun stores. Thanks again for the info! |

I don't think you need a special .308 version (my DPMS didn't) |
