My question is the following. I am looking to SBR a lower for a 6.8 upper running an 11.5 inch barrel. I understand that shorter barrels affect the terminal ballistics, but will the effect be to the point that it is not worth the shorter barrel. Any info will be greatly appreciated. I have a 10.5" 6.8 piston upper from LWRC that I LOVE. I think if I do another SBR in 6.8 SPC, the best compromise between ballistics and short length is 12.5".....but that's based on what I've read here, not any first hand experience. HTH, Sean |
