I just got the e-mail too.

It looks like a DPMS with mossy oak camo.

And a 4 round mag instead of 19.

Any big bad black rifle thats wearing mossy oak camo is a good thing.  This was just a matter of time before Cerberus got their companies together.  I expect they were waiting for DPMS to catch up with demand.

The more people shooting 'assault weapons' the better in my book.  If mossy oak make it look less menacing to the sheeple, good.

Mmmmm, I am partial to the 7MM-08 cartridge.

I figure this can only be a GOOD thing!  The 7mm-08 looks like it would be a nice hunting round.

Who makes this for them, DPMS?

Yes DPMS.

Remember that Cerberus Capitol owns Remmy, Bushy, DPMS and more.  Bushmaster makes the Remmy AR-15s, and DPMS is making the 308 size.  Smart marketing in my book.  The more hunters carrying AR's the better.

7mm-08 is a good option to have.

Cerberus owns all kind of stuff

I think one of these in 7mm-08 would be neat as well...

I am looking at an R-25 in 243 since thats my deer rifle calibers.

Has anyone shot a Rem in any caliber and how are they?
Since it appears DPMS makes them they should be fine. Right?

Plus I can alway get a 308 upper

They are a lot more expensive than a DPMS.  The only thing I like is the 20" lighter barrel.

It strikes me that they make these in 243 & 308 but not in there own cartridge the 260?
