Here are some pics of the C-Products 6.8 mag that will not feed,  I left a post in the industry forum but it hasn't been answered yet.

I thought maybe some pics might help,  Here are 3.

First if I am carefull I can get the first round to sit about right in the Mag.

Then when the round is stripped it does not return the next round to the top.  Sometimes it looks like this,... and sometimes the top of the round raises but the base stays low and is not picked up by the bolt.

It seems that this is a common problem with the straight mags.

I called and left a message @ c-products and have not yet recieved a call back,

Not sure how much this helps but here goes.....

My first 6.8 mag was a PRi with a st. steel follower and would not hold the bolt back after the last shot (very annoying to say the least). So I figure ' Why not give the competition a try' and bought a CProducts magazine. Now it's 400 rds. later without a single hiccup and I'm going to buy more. I'm also going to replace that st. steel follower with a Magpul soon.

PRi doesn't use the st. steel follower anymore. They use the same Magpul follower that CProducts now uses. Can you kind of see where this is going?

Later versions of each product work better because of the Magpul follower. Call CProducts and find out if they'll replace your mag or follower. I'd be willing to bet that you get squared away.

Good Luck!

Jeff

P.S. I see that you've already called CProducts. Have you tried sending them an email here?

I had so many problems with Cproducts mags and decided to switch to PRI, no other problem since.

You may want to take the mag apart and look for any burr's ect.. that may cause it to hang up.  On another note C-Products typically stands behind their products, so you shouldn't have an issue with a return.

I loaded some ProHunter 110 rounds into my 10 rd cproducts and they dont sit anywhere near as high as your rounds do.  Did you tweak the feed lips?

I shot 200 rounds through the two 10 rd cproducts mags I just got with no malfunctions and no lip tweaking.

Also it may be the pics but how is your OAL on your rounds?  They look long to me, especially the second pic.

All that aside there must be a burr or something holding up the follower for it to hang up like that after the first round is fired.

Its been my experience that Cproducts will make it right for you.  They replaced some early 25 rd 6.8mags that did not have the right follower in them for me.

IMHO it look like there is something hanging up ur rounds or you have an old CPROD mag.  I have a med old one w/ black follower that has no problems.  I also have newer ones w/ magpul marked 6.8 followers.  So far no issues.  I tested them loaded to capacity w/ pro-hunter's 110gr from SSA is a Bushy for all that.  My Ko-Tonics also eats em up no problem.

I have a few of the 20rds that I thought were suppose to hold 18 but CPROD says they hold 17.  NO WAY!!  I can barely get 15 in there.  Waiting for response from Larry on that one.  I would send it back.  They seem to be good about the fix.  I wouldnt put all ur apples into the PRI bushell just yet either.  I have 2 of those and so far so good.  But many have had isues w/ them as well.  Apparently Barret is the way 2 go.  Called them last week but no response yet.
