What options do I have other than what comes with the AP4 and Tac 20 for rails for a DPMS 308? Will the rails listed for AR10s work or are they just for Armalites? Also, is the uppers, lowers and mags the only thing that won't work with each other from armalite and dpms? |
I posted a similar question and got a limited response. If I understand your question correctly, I think you're asking about after-market rails. My internet searches indicate that the following should work for a DPMS AP4 and Tac-20 (no particular order): -YHM -Daniel Defense -Badger -JP Products -SWS I've seen mixed reports about LaRue having a product for DPMS LR-series rifles (they have one for the Armalite AR-10). I don't think they do, but probably worth a call just to verify. I really wish they wouldher SFBRD |
Not quite, the LaRue will not, no compatible nut. Forgot PRI, they will work on DPMS. As for which would look most like a Knights URX, that would be the URX I think Troy was going to make one, and it looks pretty close. Call them-- find out; I called last fall, and they said 60 days.
