I think that would be a poor choice. There are other options that are somewhat affordable. Remington UMC, Fed AE, Ultramax, Lake City surplus. The DPMS rifles are not forgiving on out of spec ammo. If you want to shoot that stuff perhaps a FAL is a better rifle for you. |
It's an absolute abomination!!!!!!!! It will do mysterious and horrible things to your beloved rifle!!! It is the devil's ammo I tell you!!!! I dont know exactly what or why, but I heard at the huntin' camp that it screws things up!!!! Ok, couldnt help myself. I'm just kidding. No, it's not the best primo ammo, but for the most part, it's fine. Yes, you might encounter a rifle that doesn't like it. But it is cheap, relatively speaking, and it shoots. And where's Lumpy with that little smiley that runs around w/ wide eyes...... That would be a nice touch to my sarcastic rant..
