A suggestion

Instead of having a bunch of entries for the same load with different powder weights; just have single entry then have a table with charge vs velocity/SD/ES/group size).

It would make it easier to read (and take up less space).

Good idea.  I'll have to do that when I get a chance.

Paul,

I was noticing your Pro Hunter loads, and it looks like that when you hit 29 grains of H322 the spread and deviation numbers improved.  Do you happen to remember what the accuracy was like for that particular load?

- Tim

Ko-tonics, where we blow-up rifles so you can shoot with confidence

(EDITED TO ADD:) OOPS!  This is Tim of Ko-tonics, Carbine_Man is my non-business persona, and I forgot to logoff/login before posting.

Tim, with the 28.5 Grains of H322 I got two 5 round groups of .8".  With the 29 Gr. of H322 I got one .6" group and the other was 1".  So they are probably the same in accuracy.  The first time I tested the Pro-Hunters, the 28.5 Gr. and 29 Gr. shot the same as this time.

Paulo,
Have you shot the 90 Speer and the 90 Sierra both zeroed at 100 and checked to see which drops more at 300?

The Speer 90 Gr. with a 100 yard zero and a velocity of 2854fps with 28.5 Gr. of H4198 will have a -12.3" drop (-1.1Mil).

The Sierra 90 Gr. with a 100 yard zero and a velocity of 2902fps with 28.5 Gr. of H4198 will have a -14.1" drop (-1.3Mil).

At 600 yards the Speer 90 Gr. will have a 108.5" drop (-5.0Mil).
At 600 yards the Sierra 90 Gr. will have a -142.1" drop (-6.6Mil).

the reason I ask is because some companies pump up their BCs to increase sales.

I agree with that, but if you look at the construction of the two, the Speer 90 Gr. is built more like a VLD, while the Sierra has a large hollow-point on it.  The max I can shoot out to is 300 yards, so I can't confirm anything past 300 yards.  At 300 yards they are almost the same.
