Will this fit my DPMS .308 SASS?

It sure will. I just received my new SASS from DPMS a couple of weeks ago with the Magpul stock installed. What I'm not sure of is if you will have to order any other parts, such as a new extension tube, to convert it from the original Vltor stock. Give DPMS customer service a call. They should be able to answer that for you, since they sell the Magpul stocks.

You'll need a standard AR-15 rifle-length extension, rifle buffer, and rifle buffer spring to replace the carbine length extension and buffer/spring on your SASS. The PRS will not need the A2 extender on the rifle length tube, and the PRS will come with its own stock screw.

Forget it

At the cost of the stock alone, I'll just get one of DPMS regular stocks w/o having to replace the whole G-damn buffer/tube/spring assembly

So which stock do you currently have?

The Vltor collapsible...

Sure it will.

I dont know why DPMS doesnt make that an option.  It is the stock to have on a precision rifle.  A collapsable stock will have play, exactly what you dont want on a precision rifle.  It is fine for an M4 type, but not for a rifle you want to pull every last bit of accuracy from.

I had a custom SASS built by the good people at GA Precision.  The Magpul is their stock of choice.
