Hello,

This is my first post, and I am completely new to the AR-15. I am looking at building one in the 7.62X25 Tokarev caliber and I was wondering if this chambering actually exists or not, who makes it, and what the cost is.
I saw this as a possible caliber mentioned in the gunrag Guns and Ammo. They had a nice spread on the who's who of the AR world, but they didn't mention who chambered the AR in that caliber.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Go to this link and Marty is your man.  There is a thread or two about it.  Not sure where the project is at so far, but I know the big issue is mags.  The cool thing about that caliber is you can shoot it like a pistol, or handload 125gr rifle bullets into it!  I posted pix in that thread of a 125gr Nosler BTBT bullet seated in a 7.62x25 case.  Pretty cool stuff!

If that does not work, just go to www.458socomforums.com and go to the section on the 338Spectre, 500Phantom, and the Rhinos.  It is in that section.
