I just read on another topic that the 6.8 spc can go in a regular 556 lower ! Is it true I was going to buy a stag 6.8 lower soon. more ? what is 6.5 Grendal and does the same go for that? Thanx anyone

yes same lower for 5.56, 6.8 and 6.5

thank you i have 6 lowers all 5.56 i didnt know that. how does it work? do u just get the 6.8 upper and mags? thanks again

Just push out the take down pins and put your complete upper with bolt assembly and your good to go.

You have to use a different magazine for 6.8/6.5's. They won't fit in your 5.56 mags.

the ONLY differences between a 5.56 AR and a 6.8 or 6.X AR are the following;
1:barrel
2:bolt head
3:magazine
4: Might want a heavier buffer if running a collapsible stock. optional.

Uppers lowers, handguards, etc. are the same.
