What kind of accuracy are you guys getting from your Grendels? I am thinking about selling my AR10 T and having a .556 carbine upper for shorter ranges and a 22-24" Grendel upper for longer ranges. I am looking for a versatile/multi-use setup that I can configure for the type of hunting that I am doing. I plan to start reloading soon, so ammo availability is not as big of a factor. Thanks for any info that you can help with. |

Gunblast article with AA and Sabre tactical models. 5 shot groups in lower right of page. I haven't seen any 10 shot groups yet. |

I have gotten some .5moa groups with an AA 14.5" barrel. It is more common however for me to get groups at are around .75moa. Even the worst groups wind up at about 2.5moa. That is pretty good in my opinion using a chromelined barrel. Reloading is the way to go with a Grendel. The accuracy potential is so high that reloading ammo tailored to your barrel is a no-brainer. |

My CSS 20" 6.5 Grendel Counter Sniper consistently shoots 0.5" groups at 100 meters and 1.0" groups at 200 meters with the AA factory 120gr Nosler ammo. Have yet to get out and try my handloads. I also have a standard 5lb trigger that is a bit rough - will swap it out eventually and hope I can go smaller than 1/2 MOA. |
