It will depend on what kind of interchangability you're looking for. If gas tube depth is what you're considering, the .308s that I'm familiar with cn use the same gas blocks. If you're looking to mount auxillary sights, the receiver height isof greater concern than the block. Some receivers from some brands are the same height as a 223 upper. Some receivers are somewhat taller than standard, and others are much taller. At least one company makes a taller gas block to go with their taller receivers. Steve/RRA |
