Hello, Can someone tell me or Jewell also make trigger for a AR-10? Thanks wim |
|
I installed a JP FC-1, which is spec'd for the .223 in my DPMS .308. Wondered about this till I got it, and lo, and behold, right in the instructions was the install for the .308. KEEP THE ORIGINAL SPRINGS!!! The springs for the .223 may not have enough mass to fire the primer on the .308. Also, don't set the trigger too light, or you will go thru an awful lot of ammo accidentally before it shuts off. Mine is at 2.5 lbs., and works beautifully. |

You might get a better response if you post your question in the AR-10 forum. My understanding is that the AR-10 uses a proprietary trigger configuration (same overall style as an AR-15, but different geometry), whereas the DPMS LR308 uses the standard AR-15 configuration and geometry. Jewell's instructions state that their AR trigger will not fit an AR-10, but don't explain why. |
Ummm, like here: AR10 forum on ARFCOM . It's the next one down from the AR Variants forum |
