| Has anyone ever seen or handled one of these? What were your impressions? |
| Actually they don't claim it is the first production 338LM, they claim it is the first to be designed from the ground up to fire the 338LM, a subtle but distinct difference. Talked with the owner of the company, seems like a good guy but I want to hear from someone who has actually seen and handled one. I know Glen Zediker talks very highly of them but he is the only person I know of talking about them and putting it in print. |

A couple of years or so ago, I was interested in one and talked to them and asked for some names of people I could talk to who had purchased one. I never got a call back from them with any names. I also posted on several forums on the net and did not run across anyone who actually owned one or knew of anyone who owned one. I lost interest on the new 6000.00 toy after a while and spent the money on other things ![]() To this day, I have not seen or heard of anyone saying they owned one. I guess most of the people that have bought one are fairly ![]() |

I was trying to come up with enough money back in 1998-1999 before the california ban to buy their 308 version. Probably much better that I went with Armalite. RND does make a good product though the only prominent use I know of was with JP Enterprises when their Grade 3 rifles used the matched upper/lower receivers from RND for AR15 builds. Were very damn good looking guns. JP is probably doing their own receivers now but there was RND products getting out there for some time. No idea who has an RND 338 or 308 though, you might check around on some of the other long distance minded shooting forums but the exotics there tend to be things like CheyTacs or WindRunners other 338 and 408 bolt guns. |

You really got my hopes up, but the only 308 thermold magazines I could find were for the M-14 which means they would work in the Armalite AR-10, although without a bolt hold open function. |
