Anyone change out the Buffer Tube?

I am unable to even start to get it off.

I took it off for a detail cleaning, never had a problem with mine.

Very lucky man

I had a 12 inch wrench and unable to get the tube off.

heat gun? maybe they used loc-tite on it.

I had to use a wrench with about a 12" extention to get the thing off (I changed it for a CAR tube and a LMT SOPMOD stock with Slash's buffer and a cut spring inside).

How did you secure the lower receiver?

I have a gun vise and could pad it up some to keep from scratching the lower.

Got it off, my gosh the LocTite they use on the tubes.
