[ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS308LR interchangeability?

Here's a question for the folks who used the Arfcom wisdom and 'Bought Both'

Will the DPMS308 upper fit on an Eagle or Armalite lower? I've got my DPMS 24" upper listed on the EE, and Sniper243 has expressed a lot of interest in it...I don't want to screw him over selling him a part he can't use, and I don't want to waste the shipping money and time. A quick reply would be much appreciated!

a guy on the AR10 forum answered it. no fit due to the curve at the aft end of the upper.

ETA: Member who answered the question is ARhabit. He owns AR10, DPMS308 and SR25 and did a side by side comparison

My dealer, Kiesler's Police Supply, is a major DPMS dealer and is direct with DPMS. He told me DPMS is proprietary will not work with either the Armalite or the Bushmaster .308 lowers, or the other way around.
