Appreciated. Still needing to throw a TA11, CD Rein 3.0, and a Slingster on it. Probably going to swap the two stage for a Hiperfire EDT too. Hoping to get it to the range next week.

just curious, is that a regular PSA PA-10 upper receiver on your DPMS lower?

I'm just wondering if the new DPMS 308 lowers are re-labeled PSA PA-10 receivers, along with their proprietary features, versus the original DPMS LR-308 spec.

I bought everything direct from DPMS. I am a dealer for them and this is a personal gun. I am guessing it is just rebranded PSA. I think they are going to release the actual G2 at some point

I’ll be able to shoot for groups and tune the gas block in spring. Zeroing in subzero temps kinda sucks. It'll probably live as a target rifle as it's a heavy SOB though.

Yes Wilson barrel. Hornady factory 143 ELDX is shooting 2451fps at 45 degrees out into about 1.5moa with 80 rounds on the barrel. Hornady 129 Interlock Whitetail ammo is doing 2532 FPS at about the same 1.5 moa. This is off a Harris bipod and no rear bag. It's not terrible but not great either. Both are shooting slightly under or around 1 moa for 4 of the 5 rounds and 1 round opening it up. I don't hand load and will try some other ammo and I hope it settles down to MOA or better but I'm not sure.

I'll let you know when my next batch of ammo arrives. I swapped it a couple weeks ago from a 16" BA barrel. It's over half a pound lighter, and where a lot of the removed weight is from the very front, it seems like much more has been lost.

I will have over a dozen various loads to try from Wolf steel cased up to Federal Gold Medal Match and everything in between.

DMR/SASS are cool but with brakes and adjustable gas and some of the different barrel lengths and profiles it allows dudes to make a carbine in 308 that is handy enough to run like a slightly larger 5.56 gun

DDm5V3. I have a hate/hate relationship with AR-10s. I have owned 4 with issues from: parts breakage, reliability issues, and inexplicable loss of accuracy. A friend of mine owns one of these as his only rifle and uses it for everything. After quite a bit of time on that gun, I decided to pick one of these up. For the price (2k if you look) I think it stacks up with any competitor, regardless of price. 300 trouble free round so far, excellent accuracy, incredibly consistent function.
