Top is a PSA PA10 gen2 with STR and NiBor 2 stage. I need to get it sighted in.

Bottom is the MI my wife gave me for Xmas. MBT is very nice and the Weaver 3-15 IEMDR is very nice also. You could shoot well past legal shooting light.

Both are 18” 308. The MI is very soft shooting. You don’t lose sight picture when firing. It’s liking Varget and IMR 4064 with 168NBTs and 168 Amax. Amax are all touching at 100.

Here's my old school Armalite using the M1A mags.  Great gun.  I have a fancy railed upper with scope, etc, but this one just works well.  Don't have the can on it on this picture.

Nice?  Any details as to barrel length, rail, etc?  It looks like an SWS rail on an Armalite.

Armalite B
SWS rifle length quad rail
Barrel was a 20" rifle gas, cut to 16"
Seekins gas block with selector lever

Really digging the gas block.  Set the lowest end with a suppressor, if you take the can off, throw the lever over couple clicks and keep banging away.

You have a good memory.  It was actually the 2.5-10.  Someone offered me way more than I paid for it and I was wanting the bigger NXS anyways so it all worked out.

Check this thread...shows some of the changes to mine over the years.  https://www.ar15.com/forums/AR-15/Armalite-AR10-rainy-day-memory-lane-/121-736976/

Finally joined the club.  PWS Mk216 from the EE.  Added Larue mount/grip, Sopmod, bipod, BUIS, and a Nightforce 3-10.

Needs a bipod lock because it tilts itself right the fk over.

Nothing fancy, 80% lower and a wildcat 44x1.8" barrel I made.  Matches what my 444 Marlin can do and is legal for me to hunt with in my DNR zone where as my 444 Marlin is not. I've taken it out the last 3 deer seasons and it works great on deer.

Started with a 1891 Mauser in 44x1.8, then the LR308 pattern above, then a shorter 44x1.6" in an ar15 followed by a 44x1.8" AR15 using one of the round lugged bolts/extensions.
Link Posted: 2/20/2019 1:13:44 PM EDT
[Last Edit: TheEarloSammich] [#38]
I thought the 444 was legal.  It's a straight wall cartridge.

Too long.  Straight wall and max case length of 1.8 inches.  444 is 2.225.

Went up to do some long range plinking with a couple of pals on the weekend, took the BCL102 to see if the bolt catch would break. Yeah, I broke the Armalite bolt catch after 17 rounds the last time I had the rifle out, so I threw in a Norinco one from my spare parts box.  Ran about 80 rounds of 147gr ELD Match through it, no hiccups.  Seems like the communist bolt catch is holding up.

Was able to get first round on steel at 485m and 740m, but I had to work a bit for 1,010m.  I think with a better shooter with more experience, it probably could have done better, but by the time I started shooting for 1km, it was late in the day and I was pretty tired and not really focusing anymore.  Still, I was pretty happy that I was able to make hits at 1km.

Also had the 50 out for $hits and giggles.

Blue Panda Arms lower
