What ambi selectors do you guys use/recommend?
Personally I'm leaning towards the Patriot Ordnance Factory (POF), Noveske or the BAD-ASS/CASS safety. |

Joebob has ambi selectors for $9.99

Radian Weapons Talon with 2 Medium Taper Levers. Can be installed as a standard 90° or as a 45° short throw by simply rotating the shaft 180° inside the lower receiver. Spring-loaded retention stud to lock the lever's in place – no screws to come loose or break. https://cdn6.bigcommerce.com/s-i9labrfm/products/927/images/2705/FDE-radian-weapons-talon-ambidextrous-45-90-safety-selector-4-lever-fde-r0015__85736.1487383963.500.659.jpg?c=2 View Quote |

Anyone tried the BCM? I'm wanting one as well, seems like it would be good and its reasonably priced

No need to shell out $60 for an ambi selector. I use Midway's $20 AR-Stoner brand ambi selectors (#451138) and they work fine.
I like the design because it uses a socket head cap screw instead of the flat head screw with the small size hex wrench that is typ. used. |

I am a big fan if the seekins ambi selectors. Most of my rifles have one. They don't break the bank either at under 40.00

I love my BAD-ASS ones, but I recently tried out Radian and it's pretty nice, especially for the price.
The Radian is definitely worth trying out. |

I've used the Battle Arms ambi-selectors on my last 3-4 builds and have been happy with them. I just bought one of their light weight models for my in-progress 6.5 Gredel build, but I'm really liking the looks of that Radian. Might pick one of them up to try.

Damage Industries makes a good one. I have ~5 floating around on my rifles right now.

I hated the badass safety, throwb was sloppy, not crisp at all. I don't see what all the hype is about.
I use v7 3gun safety on all my ARs. Haven't found one I like better |

My favorite selectors are V7 standard ambi or not, 45 or 90 degree style. The ambi does either 90 or 45.
Like Griffin Armament selector if you want a thick 90 degree only ambi. It does not have an excessive texture to chew up your thumb. Like AXTS / Radian for the short slanted right side that messes with my trigger finger less. Also a 45 or 90 swapable. Liked the BAD for slim right side and non aggressive thumb texture. Worst I ever had was a Bushmaster with a roll pin to hold it from spinning. Worst design ever... that was before any of the above existed though. |

I may have to break out the dremel and "polish" that part a little if it doesn't self correct with some usage. Other than, not bad for $22. |

I've preferred the Battle Arms BAD-ASS series of safeties ever since they were first introduced to the market. I don't think that there is a more versatile, feature rich, ambidextrous safety made.
I have not tried the Radian Talon yet, but I hear great things about them. My next build will have a set. I'm just dreading having to replace all of my safety's if they are better than the Battle Arms. |

Bad Cass for the expensive option
Seekins Ambi Safety for the affordable option. |

As a lefty, I have been using them for years.
Radian is the best, IMHO. |

I have Colt ambi-safety from AU on my 6920 and BCM. They're good to go.

What's the point of an ambi selector for a right handed shooter? What am I missing?

On the B.A.D. CASS I have the, small screw holding the levers on rusted out and broke. I like the idea behind being able to switch levers out but I won't use this style again, it's just a small weak point in the design.
Now I just use a colt ambi safety. The regular non-ambi colt safety is also pretty slick, since it can be reversed for dedicated lefty or dedicated righty since it has the ball bearing detents cut out on both sides so you can flip it around. |
