Maybe, just maybe this is redundant... I'm trying to decide between a CMC 3.5 flat trigger or even 4.5lb VS. Geissele SD-C trigger.
SD-C comes in at 4.5lbs.
I have a Recce build with a CMC 3.5lb and I love it. But, I hear nothing but great reviews as well from the Geissele triggers. I'm in the works of getting approved to build my first SBR in 300 blackout.
I'd appreciate any opinions.

My Recce build required two specific things, a particular barrel and a particular trigger.  Everything else on the build could be sourced from a choice of several good options.

The barrel:  Lilja's original 16" M4 Navy SEAL recon profile match barrel.  Easily 1/2 MOA capable.

The trigger:  Geissele's SSA-E, 2.3 lb first stage, 1.2 lb second stage.  Very distinct wall at the end of the first stage.  Easy to hold there indefinitely.  1.2 lb more and it breaks crisp and clean.

SD-E is the flat bow version.
