| I removed my A2 sight gas block and also upper and replaced with flat top upper and a Odin gas block. The gas tube sticks into the upper approximately an inch with the gas block back against the shoulder. This is a rifle length set-up. Do I need a different gas tube or cut the one I have. |

It's supposed to stick into the upper about an inch. It goes into the gas key on top of the BCG.
It's highly likely that a gas block should not be seated against the handguard retaining ring on the barrel. If you remove the gas tube from the gas block, then put the gas block on the barrel upside down you can see the gas port through the hole in the bottom of the block. Center the gas port in the hole, and note if and how far off the ring the gas block should be. |
