Yes the springs are about all that are standard. Geiselle makes large pin triggers for these Colt. You will have to mill the sear block for them to work. if you have a mill it is easy. If not there are plenty of places that can do it for you. M60Joe can "fix" your lower to take a standard size upper without the goofy adapter, bush the trigger pin holes to standard mil-spec and neutralize the sear block. As far as pre-ban lowers go the Colt stuff is the worst because of all the non-standard stuff they did. Sear block, large front hole and large trigger pin holes are the issue and you can have any combination of the three. |
