I tried searching but maybe I didn't enter the right search criteria.

Anyway, I am accumulating multiple caliber of uppers and would like a way to easily spot them and for my kids to make sure they have the right upper.

I'm wanting the engraved dust covers that have the caliber at least on the outside when closed, inside too if they are available.

Any site sponsors that have them or any suggestions for good covers?

Looking for 450 Bushmaster, 7.62x39 and 6.8 SPC at this time.  Probably gonna be needing another one or 2 in the near future.

Thanks for any help.

if you are just wanting to engrave a caliber on a dust cover, without it being all doo-daddy and pimpy, the easiest solution is take your dust cover to a trophy shop in your hometown.

Yup, most trophy shops also offer laser engraving these days as well.

Went by 2 local trophy engraver shops today.  I showed them a few pics of what I wanted that I had downloaded online.

One quoted a $60 setup fee and $20 per dust cover.

The second said no setup fee and 5 bucks for one side, 8 bucks if they do both sides.  Also said they would do the end of the charging handle for 5 bucks.

Gonna have 5.56 NATO, 450 Bushmaster, 6.8 SPC and 7.62x39 done to start with.

I have an old one I'll let them practice with to make sure it's what I want.

Good prices, I will be glad when the days of the setup fee go away as it is no longer that hard to type something into a computer for engraving.

The only person I will use is Stephen Lubecki, islubecki(at)yahoo.com
He has done dozens for me and if you have a problem, he will get it sorted out in nothing flat, no fuss.
He will also do outside, inside, and just about anything you want engraved on it.  Here are some examples of his work.

Not associated with Stephen other than being an extremely satisfied customer for a lot of years.

IIRC the price is $22 and that includes the full dust cover assembly, rod, clip, cover, and spring.
