The Daniel Defense Omega Rail is excellent.

"Best" is somewhat subjective.
Check out the KAC ris and the Daniel Defense  models.

Centurion C4, if you can find one with a fsb cutout.

Wish Geissele made one.

like those choices, especially the C4 but can't seem to find one anywhere.  Any thoughts on the MI Gen2 Two Piece Free Float Handguard, Extended Length Carbine?  It's at least similar in the cut out.  Anything else?

Cheese grater. a.k.a FIRSH rail. Don't laugh. It's a little dated, about indestructible, incredibly rigid and abso-friggin-lutely rock solid.

I agree the Centurion C4 fsp is the best. But Midwest Industries makes a great one as well that's cheaper and easy to buy.

So looks like it will be either the the MI extended rail or the Troy Delta or Charlie.   Anyone have either of these already?

I just installed a MI rail on my BCM upper yesterday. I had one in the past but sold that upper and regretted it. Used a Dremel with a cut off wheel to chop the delta ring, weld spring, and c clip. Less than 10 minutes to install.

Thanks. I like the look of fsp rails a lot, even if they are dated compared to modern keymod and mlok rails. It is very solid. Uses 10 bolts to hold it together. And it fits very straight relative to the barrel. Clears the fsb and bayonet lug nicely.

I have never dealt with CTD.

I have a couple two piece 12.5" FF handguards. Not only are they solid and extremely well built, Midwest Industries has one of the(if not the best) customer service. Andy from MI is extremely helpful and goes out of his way. I have no affiliation with MI, other than owning dozens of their products.

Quoted for truth.  Two piece drop in design. No rifle modifications needed.  Free float.  Extremely high build quality.  Less than 8 ounces.  About $200 but you get what you pay for.
