[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Handguard width measurements

I am wondering if anyone has ever listed the widths/dimensions of all the various hand guards that are available. I have been looking for a narrow one and it is sometimes hard to find the width measurements of them. Some even give an inside ID and don't list what the outside dimension is.
What I would really like is a picture/drawing of a front view of each one so they could be compared. I am not wanting something to slap on all kinds of gadgets. Just want a slim hand guard for my intended use. This will be going on a 16" SS barrel.

The BCM KMR and Noveske NSR (by default the Guntec handguards as well) are the thinnest I've ever used (and I've tried quite a few different hand guards).

If you're looking for an extremely small OD handguard, you can't go wrong with either of these choices.

The Guntec Octagonal M-LOK are the thinnest I have seen.

With thin rails, you also get lightweight.

Aero's Quantum series are 2" across the flats of the octagon.
