I am building am M16A4 clone, and need to figure out which length rail covers I need. I am having a hard time counting the"ribs"on each because everybody seems to have a different way of counting them.  I would like to my VFG in the same spot on my RAS like what is pictured, so which ones are necessary for full coverage of the rail?

That looks like 11 and 6 rib panels.

I'm pretty sure that is a standard set.

Full length panels are 11 ribs.
