Hey guys,

FIrst post so I hope its in the right spot and I get a response, I recently purchased a DPMS Oracle 5.56 and I bought a Stag Drop in handguard to replace the Glacier guard. For some reason the Stag drop in handguard is not fitting correctly. Any idea's?

What is not fitting, I have a stag set up and didn't have any problems switching over.  Which model of stag did you get and you did make sure to get a carbine length?

Should of been more clear, I bought a DPMS Oracle rifle and am installing the stag handguard. IT seems like it is to long and the Glacier guard is perfectly rounded on the inside and the Stag carbine hand guard is more of a triangle.

I have an oracle as well and changed out the hand guard, now you have to make sure you got the round version, as you noticed the oracle uses the round drop in, is your stag, round on the end that goes into the delta ring and kind of triangle at the end near the gas block, if so, then you would need to pull the gas block and the cap and install the correct end cap near the gas block.  How long is the hand guard you purchased, it needs to be just about 6.75 inches, which is the carbine length.  Fortunately, the gas block on the oracle is not pinned, so it is really not that difficult to take off and replace the cap, just in case you can't exchange the hand guard you purchased.
