[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Finally went Keymod

Did the MLOK thing last year with three handguards. Still like them.

Bought a 13" BCM KMR-Alpha to swap on another upper and boy I am sold. Easy to install, came with the barrel wrench and QD adapter.

This variety thing is going to cost me. I'm thinking of swapping an SLR rail from MLOK to Keymod as funds permit.

I like my keymods better than my MLOKs too. They'll be plenty that come along and disagree with us.

I agree with you there.

That being said, I dumped both and went back to quad rails.

My only experience with mlok is on a polymer Magpul Zhukov handguard, but I had a lot of trouble with the nuts stripping out in the plastic, and spinning. Maybe an aluminum mlok rail would be better, but keymod seems to be much more user friendly.
