Hi Everyone,

I got this barrel somewhere in the past, maybe from a trade and cannot for the life of me remember who manufactured it. I am trying to clean out some of my stuff and sell/trade it but, would like info on the barrel to provide in an ad. I have googled and researched but still cannot figure it out. Plus the barrel has a hole drilled in it, inside by the feed ramps(pic included).
The barrel is 5.56 marked and has a 1/7 twist.
I have included a few pictures below, I am really hoping someone will recognize this barrel. I appreciate everyone's help, I know you guys know a ton more than I do. Thanks again!
And sorry for the crappy Iphone pics.

In this crappy picture, I was trying to get the markings SR on the barrel extension

It looks like Green Mountain Rifle Barrels.  The hole in the extension as well as the markings brings me to that conclusion.  I would contact them to make sure.

Thanks for the lead, I'll look into them. I appreciate it because I had no idea. Why is the hole drilled in the extension? Forgive my ignorance

It's commonly found on Sig Sauer barrels.  It is there to prevent extractor failure in case of high pressure.

Did some more searching and looked at green mountain barrels. Looks like their barrels are marked with a G and in fact my barrel does have a faint G marking just ahead of the extension. I'm not sure if thus barrel was made by green mountain for someone else due to the SR markings but it appears that it is manufactured by green mountain. Thanks for the help guys, I knew someone here could help.
