I am trying for one of those no recoil 3 gun setups. I have an ULMOS and Hiperfire. Can I completely remove the weights on the JP Silent Captured Spring buffer?
Should I just get some Delrin weights made instead? I only see two possible issues 1. TOOOOO LITTLE weight for proper cycling. We have to hold the carrier in place until the bullet leaves the barrel. 2. The moving part of the SCS will not be guided without the large OD weights installed and could bobble as it goes down the buffer tube during recoil and return. EDIT - yes I have an adjustable gas block. 18" rifle length JP barrel. |
