I am looking for a compact stock for my first SBR build. I have been looking at the following PDW stocks,
Troy NEA Safety Harbor KES MVB Industries LWRC Ultra Compact Obviously the LWRC is the cheapest but I am not sold on looks. I like the looks of the Safety Harbor KES the best. So who has used what, and what has your experiences been like? |

The LWRC is the most comfortable in my experience, haven't used all of those but they seem to all share the same basic theme except for the LWRC. It's almost as comfortable as a SOPMOD, very nice. The only reason I haven't done one of those is that I love the JP-SCS buffer, and those stocks all require a proprietary setup that's not compatible. If that doesn't appeal / apply to you, I would use the UCIW. |

I have a Gen 1 NEA with 4 LOP adjustments. It's pretty good but i think options like the troy and some others are just as good if not better now. At the time it was my only option.
Word of advice. I'm 6'1" and even at it's max the LOP on the NEA was very short for me. Also don't be expecting much of a cheekweld. If you want a good conventional stock I would go with the ultra compact. |
