this is a .556 barrel that's all I know. Upper has no markings either. Trying to help identify barrel for a friend.

Only marking on barrel is 5.56. I'll have him take better pics of barrel so I can post. Neither the barrel nor the upper receiver have markings or brand stamp of any kind.
