The Centurion patent pending C4 rail system is a lightweight, rugged, 2 piece free float rail that when installed gives the uppers a continuous 12o’clock rail. The C4 system is the lightest and most rigid rail that clamps to a standard barrel nut on all AR15, M4, and M16 type weapons systems. This design allows the installation of the rail on an upper assembly without removing the front sight post or permanently attached muzzle devices.

You actually have quite a few. What is open to you mainly depends on whether you are open to removing the FSB to put on the hand guard.

If not, then a two-piece FF like the Daniel Defense Omega 9.0" will work. It's two halves that screw together.

If you're up for using some elbow grease, then the options are greater. LaRue makes a 9.0" handguard, as do a couple other manufacturers, most with a proprietary barrel nut. If you want a rail that extends past the FSB, then something like the DD LITE rail is helpful. I'm sure others will be here with more options. As I understand, your options are greater with a carbine system.

ETA: Those are all quad rails (my preference). There are other non-quad options.

I'm open to removing the FSB to put on the handguard.  Just want to keep the FSB and bayo lug.  Doesn't have to be a quadrail, just freefloat, but I could go either way.

Ha!  I wish you the best with removing a BCM FSB.  A friend and I tried everything and eventually just cut mine off because the pins wouldn't budge.

I can vouch for the Centurion rail being awesome.  I wanted a quad rail that would somewhat wrap around the FSB, and it works perfectly.

You could give this a try. WOA mid float tube. You can fit you Magpul hand guards on the free float tube.

So it would just like you have now except free floated

Pretty sure the BCM EAG carbine and "Filthy 14" are middies with the Larue 9.0. A google search of either should give good results.

Personally, I would go with either a Midwest industries drop in 2 piece or their 2 piece free float. With the free float by MI, you must cut or remove the delta ring. Just leave handgaurd cap on though.
The drop in is $124.95 and free float is $149.95

If you want a great FF rail, look at LaRue Tactical's quad rail. I put one of the 7" rails on my carbine and love it. It gives it that drop-in rail look, but is 100% free floated. It also comes with a new barrel nut for the rail. Also, there is also two screws that prevent the nut or rail from coming loose, ever. this will run you at about $273. But if you order from LaRue, you receive a hat, stickers, beverage entry tool, two catalogs, 3 US Constitution booklets, meat seasoning, and a rush of freedom.

The Centurion arms C4 mid length cut out is what you really want. Atleast that's what I would want if I wanted to keep the FSB.

I prefer the monolithic rail (Larue is not obviously) and the C4 is the only quad rail that will give you rail space on the side and under the FSB.

You will have to remove the handguard cap though. Kind of a PITA to remove w/o removing the pins from the FSB and moving it foward, but doable.

I know the C4 allows space to keep the bayonet lug. I cut mine off however along with cutting down the FSB when I installed a 10" C4 on my 11.5.

The Troy Vtac rail will use the original barrel nut and not require any gunsmithing but removal of the FSB and dremeling off the delta pack.
