Looks like both of these should work and able to be installed on my pinned and welded upper. Any experience with either?

have several the samson rails, keymod and regular. I love them. I don't attach much to mine but I like the diameter & variations the samson rail comes in. big enough diameter to clear my suppressor and muzzle brakes. a friend of mine had the fortis and hated it, said it was like holding a 2x4.

i can't say anything about the fortis. but i do love both of my samson rails, as far as the quality of them goes. i hate my evo rail . but that has more to do with my gas block than anything else. as far as how it looks and how it feels, it's nice.

I have a Fortis Rev and dont like having both the upper and lower picatinny rails. They're new Rev 2 rails only have the top rail, wish they'd offer a trade in program.

have a sampson evo keymod 12.35" and like it. no complaints here about it.

I love my Revis rails. No experience with the Samsons.

I think this is the option im going to take. As soon as PA gets it back in stock im going to order one.

I own both, I strongly prefer the new Fortis rail. Either works fine.

If your looking at the Samson Evo, check out the Rainier Arms version. I like it better.

Shape, feel, installation, looks, machine work and overall finish. I only have one on a personal weapon, and it is a 14" on 14.5, so that doesn't help you much. Otherwise I would post some pictures for you.
