| Can anyone give me some thoughts/feedback on Midwest Industries or CMMG. Looking to get into a new AR, thinking something with 18in barrel. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Heads up. You need to list your budget and intended use. Then wait for the flood gate to open with suggestions.
I for one wanted rock solid reliability that would be my go-to for shtf situations and I could comfortably stake my life on. My first and only so far is a BCM complete upper on a Spikes Tactical lower, so its all i have hands on experience with and i couldn't be more pleased.

| I was looking at buying a complete rifle from one of the two companies I've listed. MI has the M Lok18 and CMMG has a similar rifle. I've looked at building one also like you recommended but was just looking at getting a ready to shoot rifle for my first one. I just really haven't found much for info on the two companies I've listed. I would like to be around 1300 or under for the rifle. I do like the set-up you've got there, and thank you for the info and advice. As far as my intended use for the rifle is going to be an all around predator/target but keeping it tactical, don't want a heavy barrel on it. |
