Am I the only one that prefers a 4 position tube way over a 6 position? I don't need all of the different length of pulls that a 6 position offers and a 4 position seems easier to get to the specific spot you want on the stock. Does anybody know of a good place for cheap 4 position mil spec tubes?

And that is why the original Colt carbine tube is still the best...........at two positions. Open and closed.

Two positions are nice for iron sights and light clothing on, but for something like an acog with little eye relief, I prefer a middle position.I find the 4 position perfect for all around use.

I like mine.

Both of my non-Colts now sport Colt 4-position tubes.

There was another company selling mil-spec sized 4-position tubes, (they also sold a lot of the same stuff Damage Industries does, Tactical Intent maybe?) but I lost the bookmark.

ETA:

Found IT!!!
