| Scored an new Bushmaster ORC for sub $500 price tag. Not sure what they were thinking when they built these guns, but I gotta make immediate changes. Personally I want back up sights and don't trust my life to anything that runs on batteries. I'm looking for a good/cheap 13in hand guard and gas block. The prices are just stupid for some of the big name brands that are fanboy approved. I'd like to keep it under $500 for the whole set up, barrel nut/hand guard and gas block/sights/optic. Any recommendations? I train so it will be beaten up but how exactly is one aluminum hunk of metal weighing within ounces of another worth 2x or 3x the price of another? I don't want to make the mistake of having 2k in a Remington AR that is a back up beater. |
