Guys,
I'm building my first AR and keep flopping back and forth on upper / rail setup. Which one would you guys pick and why. I already have the mega billet lower and a 16" mega 556 barrel. 1. Megalithic 14" (Extended Rifle) 2. Mega MKM AR-15 KeyMod (Extended Rifle) 3. Fortis REV Free Float Rail System (14") I think they all look good.. Just cant decide... And no I'm not getting all 3. Lol |

It is fan-fucking-tastic. JMO, of course. Good luck though, all 3 of your choices are nice setups

Beauty contest. If you were picking a wife, would you ask someone else which of your three girlfriends was the hottest and go by what they say? Hell no. We all have preferences, blondes, brunettes, redheads, ethnicity, height, weight, on and on. Unless someone tells you there is a clear quality difference, get some brass ones and pick what you like rather than what others tell you you ought to like.
Just to make a point, I don't like rails longer than 12 inches on a 16 inch barrel, don't like KeyMod at all, and prefer Daniel Defense. That's pretty much completely subjective. What the hell do I know? No more or less than anyone else when it comes to personal preference. It's purely subjective, just like choosing among the three you are asking about. Our opinions are no better than flipping coins or drawing straws. |
