| Greetings everyone! This is my first post as a new AR15.com member. I'm building my first AR. Just ordered the Starting platform, a matched hellbreaker upper and lower from Spikes Tactical. So a question for anyone with experience with these lowers. Will this lower fit a regular plastic block for the vise or do I need something special because off the teeth and shape etc? Any help Is greatly appreciated, thank you. |

The only thing on a lower build you need a vice for is torquing the castle nut, and all you need for that is the synthetic magazine type block, which installs just like a regular magazine would. I use the ProMag version, any will work on your hellbreaker lower. |

Those wont do any good except maybe a flat head and allen wrenches. You need a good punch set, armorers wrench, torque wrench, breaker bar, and all appropriate vice blocks for the upper. |
| Alright so I was watching a great video on here the other day and the gentlemen was securing his barrel with a Wilson combat barrel nut and used a snap on crows foot with a torque wrench and breaker bar. Seemed easy enough to me. So i was pretty much settled on the Troy handgaurd and that drew me to the S&W's M&P 15 TS. I was soooo close to buying the TS then I saw the hellbreaker, found AR15.COM and dropped a pair! Here we go. Enough about me. Considering that style guard any all around best armorers wrench you prefer? |
