What is the difference in chrome lined vs chrome plated in these 2 BCG?  Is the $80 difference worth it to get the Daniel Defense?

Chrome lined refers to the interior of the carrier where the bolt resides. Chrome plated is more of an overall exterior plating.
Any quality phosphate carrier will be chrome lined.

It basically comes down to corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning with the chrome plating, although an arguement can be made in regards to surface hardening.
With a properly lubed and maintained bcg this becomes a mute point and any corrosion to a bcg is usually  an indicator of operator neglect.
