I just picked up an Anderson lower with the built in trigger guard for $85 out the door. Seems like a decent lower but the finish doesn't look like a hard anodized finish. It's almost blueish, purple almost matte black case hardend looking. this normal for them or did I get a lemon? Also anyone have any experience with them? I didn't find to much on them. Price seems to good to be true for a lower around here..

They've been selling them by the pallet to retailers, they must have ordered thousands from the forge.

Some are blems and some are first rate, maybe you got a blem.

The ones I have seen are black, just like other manufacturers lowers.  Anderson lowers are GTG.  Yours might be a blem like previously posted.

Still for a Blem lower I'm happy with the price, just wanted the trigger guard as a part of the receiver. Might be a good donor for a duracoat project. Thanks for the replies.

Copes had the blems for $42 if I remember...  Might be worth shopping around.
