Hey all, I have been using this forum religiously throughout the process of piecing together my first AR build. Up until now i have done it all by myself. Here is my current build:
- Noveske Gen II lower
- CMC single stage flat trigger
- Ergo grip with palm shelf
- Magpul MOE rifle stock
- B.A.D safety selector
- Seekins bolt release
- Seekins Mag release
-KNS anti-rotational pins
-YHM extended receiver pins
- Vltor Mur Upper
- Rainer Arms Ultra Match 20" fluted barrel
- Rainer Arms BCG
That is what i have so far. It has been a slow process because of the price of this build. My question for you is, what 15" rail should i get? I cant make a decision if my life depended on it. I have narrowed it down to three choices.
Rev Fortis 14"
Seekins MCSR V2 15"
Odin Works 15.5"
all those option weigh the same and i am leaning towards the fortis and odin options. Please! Any input would greatly help! I plan on cerakoting the lower, upper, and receiver. Any and all input will be much appreciated! thanks
p.s. I am going for an AR rifle type of build to use for coyotes and the occasional target shooting. This gun WILL have a bipod on it if that makes any difference at all. Thanks guys!

Of those three, I would go with the Odin Works.

I'm also partial to this if you haven't seen it:

Well, shoot! That really is a good looking rail. And only 8 ounces for the 15". Now it looks like i have one more option to add to the rest..

This is what I got

I'd also look into the Geissele rails.

There are lots of good options out there.  I use Geissele on nearly all my rifles.

I will second that! The rail is what made me purchase this as my FIRST AR, the included Diamondhead sights helped also. . .

That must be the first Gen VRS? I like the VRS-T better with the slanted ports. Still a nice rail tho!

Those Geissele rails are our evil...I want to build another rifle just so I can get one.  How sick is that?

The Centurion Arms CMR is pretty sweet. pretty light for the length as well. I'm running a 14" on my latest rifle right now.
