| Has anyone had any experience with American Rifle Depot barrels. They have a 16 inch, 1-8 twist, H-bar, SOCOM mid length for $165.00. I e-mailed them for the manufacturer and their answer was simply American Rifle. I'm on a limited budget so I'd like to stay somewhere in this range. Thanks. |

I just got my CCMG Barrel in from Cheaper then dirt. Freaking awesome barrel, and its nitrade. Best out there. 150 bucks!

I run a custom build carbine with Spikes Tactical upper, WMD NiB-X BCG, S&W M&P lower with Geissele SSA-E trigger, DD MFR 12.0 free float rail. The barrel I purposefully chose was a 16" carbine CMMG "WASP" (nitride). It will shoot 1 MOA all day long. Amazing accuracy from a carbine barrel that cost $150. I did not choose it because of its low price. I chose it because I had seen these barrels at the range, knew it was not a fluke, and it is not out of place on a rifle with very premium parts elsewhere. |

I did my research on barrels. I knew I wanted the Nitrade barrel over the CHF Chromelined, Stainless steel. And as soon as I saw CCMG had one for less then 150 bucks I jumped on it!
