| I see more and more melonite barrels hitting the market. I'm wondering about the overall advantages/disadvantages between melonite and chrome. I've got and ARP melonite barrel in 6.8 and that thing is amazing. Accurate and easy to clean. It uses 5R polygon rifling, so I don't know if that makes a particular difference over say a standard CHF or cut rifle melonite barrel. Just looking for pratical insights? |
