I'm getting a new rifle with a Fortis 12" rail and I've been looking for covers. I've really only seen the Noveske and KAC rail covers. I've heard of issues with the Noveske staying on and I haven't really read anything much about the KAC. Obviously KAC makes very good products. Since I know keymod is fairly new is there anything out there coming soon that would be better just to wait for? It's not like it's a OMG I need it right now thing. Don't want to waste money on a bad product. It'd be kind of embarrassing to have rail covers just fall of my really nice Rainier arms RUC REV I got myself for Christmas. Ah only about 2 weeks to wait. |

I have the Noveske covers on my MI keymod rail, and am very pleased with them.
I will second the comment that they are difficult to install, and I dont see them just falling off as long as they are properly installed. The only place I found the black ones were at opticsplanet. Everywhere else only had foliage or FDE. |
Found this on tos, that's the extent of my research.
